About the event
Can finance be ethical, or are markets inherently driven by self-interest? This session will explore the intersection of money, morals, and markets, asking whether finance can operate with a conscience. With increasing pressure on businesses to prioritise environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors, we’ll look at how these principles can be integrated into the world of finance. But can profit and purpose truly coexist, or is this just window dressing? Expect a lively discussion on whether finance can be a force for good, or if the system is too entrenched in the pursuit of profit.Â
