Karl Whelan

Karl has been a Professor of Economics at UCD since 2007. Previously, he worked for 11 years in central banks: first at the Federal Reserve Board, and then at the Central Bank of Ireland. He has a PhD in economics from MIT and is a member of the Royal Irish Academy. He is a member of the Monetary Experts Panel, which advises the European Parliament’s Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs. Follow Karl on Twitter: @WhelanKarl
